La Caminera is a traditional estate managed with a deep passion for hunting by its owner, Salvador Sallés Sabater. Over the years, it has preserved its original character while expanding to include an exclusive country house hotel.

The remarkable terrain of La Caminera estate consists of rolling hills covered in scrub vegetation, dotted with holm oaks and shrub oaks, and surrounded by olive groves. This makes the finca an ideal location for partridge shooting.

Thanks to the mild climate, gentle winds, and diverse topography, shoot days at La Caminera are exceptional, offering unforgettable driven shooting under the vast blue skies of La Mancha.

The estate spans 1,000 hectares and features flat areas (550 meters above sea level) and mountain ranges (reaching a maximum altitude of 800 meters). It boasts ravines, watercourses with seasonal streams, and open plains planted with wheat and barley. These provide both food and shelter for the red-legged partridge, making it an ideal habitat.

Day 2 and 3 – Shooting
Typically we start 08.00 with a great breakfast at the Hotel.

At 09:30 guns are introduced to loaders and secretarios.

After drawing pegs and a safety brief, we all move to the first drive of the day.

Drives usually last 40 minutes, of which 20 is intense activity.

After the second drive a elevenses is served in the field.

After the third drive we will stop for lunch – either in the field if weather allows or back at the Hunters Lounge.

After lunch we will shoot the fourth and fifth drives, and then head back to Hunters Lounge to enjoy some drinks

Dinner will be served in the hunter’s lounge or wine cellar later in the evening.
